Whois Hosting This – Good 3.5 / 5 Stars

Claire Broadley rated DreamHost Good, giving the host 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Summary: Dreamhost offers an innovative approach to hosting, and its move to the cloud has allowed it to branch out. Despite the advance of other control panels, it has stuck to its approach of using its own custom panel for everything. Depending on your situation, the control panel could be a blessing or a curse, and the lack of a reseller option could be limiting in some cases. But the long money-back period means you have a chance to try Dreamhost’s unique service for 97 days without risk.

Web Hosting Secret Revealed – Good 4 / 5 Stars

Jerry Low rated DreamHost Good, giving the host 4 out of 5 stars.

Summary: DreamHost got its start back in 1997 in a college dorm room where a group of four technology-loving friends came together to produce an open-source technology that would help individuals and business owners better connect on the web. Today, DreamHost has moved out of the dorm room and into offices in San Diego. It now helps over 400,000 customers host close to 1.5 million websites. DreamHost, in short, is a great web host. Our interviewee gave DH a 4 on a scale of 1-5 rating but I personally think DreamHost is better than that. Read on to find out more.

Host Advice – Above Average 6.7 / 10 Stars

Ilya Hazanov rated DreamHost Above Average, giving the host 6.7 out of 10 stars.

This is a web host that promises a very rare 100% uptime money-back guarantee with a free two-week trial. They aren’t competing for the lowest price, but they say they’ll do more for you and win you over on quality. If you’re not happy in your first 97 days, you get your money back, no questions asked.

DreamHost or SiteGround for WordPress hosting?

      WHRDb

We suggest Siteground over DreamHost. Both quality hosts though.
